I left the house after we scored the second TD and went to a party in the neighborhood. That's the first time I can ever remember not watching a game start to finish. I don't feel bad about this being the first time for that.

I feel sorry for the young men and their momma's and daddy's. They have to be so disillusioned.

But I really feel sorry for Marcus Lattimore. I admit I got emotional when I saw him go down and the expression on his face. It was heartbreaking.

what dyall expect Chizik to come out there and say, anything earth shattering. I'm not real sure I totally feel sorry for these kids. Looks like most are getting back exactly what they've put into this whole thing. Sorry, total blame can't necessarily be placed on the coaches. Player's make plays and viceavercy.

I can't tell whether it's due to a lack of effort, or if perhaps it's because they don't know or don't understand their assignments. Looked like maybe a combination of both. Either way, tonight's performance left no question in my mind that chizik's fate is sealed. That's too bad because I do believe he is an auburn man, but it just ain't working out like we all hoped.

FWIW, Rob Pate tweeted during the game that the players had given up. Certainly looked that way to me, but he's the former player who knows much more about it than I so take that however you'd like it.

Defensively, it sure looked like it in spots. I thought the offense kept plugging after its shell-shocked start. When Wallace got moving, they didn't lose heart.
