If the last 8 years has prepared us for anything, it's probably a bumpy ride. Just sayin'. Oh well, I may just have to do a Rip Van Winkle. One thing about the present state of politics/government in our country, the networks shouldn't have to waste much money on new programming cause we live in an era of depending on the entertainment area to provide guidance, & the teaching of acceptable morals, as well as insight to the worlds problems. Now if we can just get the entertainment community to leave the Crack, 0piods, booze, sex changes, other peoples mates, etc. alone long enough to do the aforementioned, we should be in the catbirds seat of world leadership.

it will definitely be a bumpy ride. the Commiecrats thought that they had the next 8 years sewn up and now their plans are all being aborted with the stroke of a pen.

I'm sure we'll have plenty of Impeachment votes, riots, and even more examples of how far the left has fallen into depravity before Trump's term is up but it will all be useless because the Commiecrat party has become impotent and will continue to lose power the more the American voter sees how truly retched the party has become.

I am amazed by the dumb stuff trump gets tripped up by. His ego is his undoing. He's still arguing over numbers at the inauguration and popular vote CRAP. Who the heck cares??! He won, the popular vote doesn't matter given the electoral college no matter how much the lefties want to crow about it. The number attending his inauguration don't matter and he's still consumed by it. It's irritating to watch.

It's not so hard to imagine trump doing the things he's noted doing in the NY Post "report" as he is an ego maniac, but I'd suggest most politicians egos are likely uber inflated. His is on the highest end of the scale. But it's also well known that the NY Post is akin to the National Enquirer. (That's from the mouth of New Yorkers that I work with). I could make up a believable "insider" story from unnamed sources. It wouldn't be difficult, especially with the right connections with people who are of similar mind.

Yeah, they've doubled fees and are expanding his business but that has nothing to do with exploiting his position as POTUS. Good one. The Emoluments Clause is in the Constitution for a reason; i.e., so the POTUS is not being bought and paid for by those trying to influence him with gifts and/or payments. Isn't this what the supposed furor was about with the Clinton Foundation? This is far more troubling because (a) these are payments directly to his business which bears his name and from which he is directly profitting and (b) he's POTUS.

Just curious: as someone who bitched and whined about the Clinton Foundation and foreign influence, you're good with this? He still hasn't released his taxes and never will (just repeating the lie about audit until the end of time). But it's all groovy now because he's your guy?

if you don't think hillary benefitted personally from the Clinton foundation, i got some ocean front property in AZ I'd like to sell you. I know you're not so naive to think that some of the Clinton foundation stuff was kosher. It's such a double standard to point at trump and not even acknowledge the appearance of impropriety of some of the Clinton foundations stories, which were just shrugged at.

Here's a few recent stories, one is from your favorite news source (since u feel it's a reasonable news source, I'll go with it). The one about Qatar - she even signed an agreement that she would notify the authorities about donations from such sources and whoopsy, she didn't. "It was just an oversight." Yep.

Hey, if there's impropriety that is ultimately proven, I'm all for him getting punished. But I can tell ya, he won't get the same shrugs that Hillary got. So many folks want to nail him - he knows that. Because of his investments and buildings, there is a built in suspicion that anything that happens with those investments that he somehow is using his position to benefit financially. It's certainly something everyone will be watching and continue to charge that he's guilty of impropriety whether true or not.

There is almost no way for Trump not to profit. He is one of the most well known people in the world and this was prior to becoming president. He has turned over control of his businesses to his children. Are they sudden suppose to stop using his name? Is there anything wrong with using his fame to prosper? I don't see any issues so far. If favors, government contracts or such are given in exchange for personal gain (Clinton Foundation) then there is a problem and he should face the consequences. Right now there is nothing to suggest wrong doing. Wishing and hoping him to fail is not going to help this country.

do you even read my responses or just the parts that u want to? I said if he does something wrong, he should be punished. (I don't think it's unreasonable to point at the obvious parallels of HRC - this stuff just happened.)

I certainly get why you don't want to acknowledge that even the possibility of impropriety that just occurred within the last few years isn't relevant: because it poisons the narrative of HRC good/Trump bad. You give her a total pass. I can at least ackowledge the appearance of some of these things u have presented and the obstacles his presidency/businesses create.
