Welcome all. The purpose of this board is to be a welcome haven of sorts, a respite if you will where we former "Hotties" can gather to keep up with each other, discuss AU sports, our personal successes as well as our trials and tribulations. I welcome all former "Hotties" here and hope that you will as well. If you (yes YOU) notice someone absent and you'd like them to know about this place, please feel free to reach out to them provided they can abide by The Rules and be congenial and good contributors to whatever our discussions may be. I'd also extend that invitation to anyone you (yes YOU) may know who may not have previously been a "Hottie" but you think would make a good addition. They'll just have to learn how we operate with each other given our long standing relationships.
Now, The Rules...nothing really new here, not blazing new ground, you know them. But for the purpose of making sure we're all on the same page, here be The Rules:
1. No flaming or name calling. Shenanigans will not be tolerated.
2. It's completely fine to post a link to an outside source if you think it's something of substance others would like to read. However, please do provide a link so the author of that content gets the appropriate site hits. If you'd like to provide a summary of the content in a few sentences so others know whether or not they're interested in clicking the link, that's acceptable and encouraged. Do not copy and paste the entire article/content here. This applies whether the site is free or paid subscription.
3. I know there are many paid sites out there vying for your business. I'm sure many of them are operated by good people offering quality content. Speaking from experience, I'd highly suggest that you spend your hard earned $ with auburnsports.com (RIVALS), the amount of and quality of the content there is absolutely stellar. It's my one and only paid subscription for AU related information. And, help a buddy out, subscriptions there are how JGT feeds his family and keeps the lights on. He may stop by here from time to time, but you should not expect him to provide any inside scoop or news here which is not first posted at auburnsports.com
4. Be courteous to each other. Consider what you post before you post it. If you wouldn't say it to your child, grandmother or faith leader, don't put it here. I trust you get the idea.
The Rules are few but simple. I hope we'll all continue to adhere to them here.
Now go do that voodoo, that you do so well!
